The vibe here is pure relaxation with the opportunity to reconnect with nature and what's important in life. It's like stepping into a tranquil oasis away from the chaos of the city. The deluxe safari tent is a great way to get away from it all and get back to nature. It's like camping, but with all the comforts and luxuries you could ask for. Shian Wood is a fine example of the ancient semi-natural woodlands typical of the Atlantic coast of Scotland. Walking through it is like stepping into a fairy tale forest. The Argyll 4 berth glamping pods with their unique and innovative design are situated right on the edge of Highfield pond. Waking up to the sound of gentle water ripples is truly magical.

We had a great stay at this lovely cottage. It was plenty big enough for four people and had a cozy log burner. The hosts were welcoming and friendly, making check-in easy. The outdoor space was nice and we enjoyed exploring the local area on bikes. The Chinese restaurant just a few minutes away was excellent. a great place to stay for a short visit.
Hard to think of any negatives, 🤔 but unfortunately the local pubs didn't offer food.

The host, Pete, gave us a warm welcome and ensured we were comfortable throughout our stay. The apartment was spacious enough for four people and had a cozy log burner. The outdoor space was lovely, although we didn't get to enjoy it due to the weather. We were pleased to find a great Chinese restaurant just a three-minute walk away, as there weren't any local pubs offering food. it was a pleasant location with beautiful scenery for bike riding.
Do recommend this hotel.

The location was great, tucked away in a quiet area but still close enough to everything we needed. the cottage was well equipped with everything we needed, including a highchair for our toddler. the cleanliness of the cottage was impressive, it felt very homely and welcoming. the hosts were fantastic, friendly and helpful with any questions we had. it was a pleasant stay.
There were a few downsides to our experience. the bed was uncomfortable with a firm mattress and a footboard that made it difficult for my tall husband to stretch out.

The cozy self-catering cottage comfortably accommodates 3 people. The owners are attentive and ensure guests have everything they need. Convenient location for exploring nearby Whittlesey and Wisbech. Loveliest log burner available. Outdoor space is a bonus.

We stayed at Highfields Cottage for a short visit and it was perfect. The location was peaceful, and the cottage was well-equipped and clean. It felt like a home away from home. Pete & Anita, the hosts, were welcoming and helpful. We loved the quiet atmosphere and would choose this over a hotel when visiting the area again.
Totally recommend this hotel.

We had a fantastic stay at Highfields Cottage. The owners, Peter and Anita, were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The cottage itself was cosy, clean, and very comfortable. We appreciated the well-equipped kitchen and the homely atmosphere. Despite a few minor issues, such as the firm mattress and thin quilt, our overall experience was positive. The location was ideal for our needs, being close to both Whittlesey and Wisbech. We highly recommend a stay at Highfields Cottage for anyone visiting the area. we had a great time and would definitely return in the future.

The glamping pods have a super luxurious feel to them, making you feel like you're staying in a 5-star hotel in the middle of nature. The extensive, covered decking area with rattan furniture, a hot tub, and firepit BBQ in the Argyll pod is perfect for enjoying the great outdoors while still having all the comforts of home. The spacious living room with patio doors leading to the balcony in the first-floor cottage is like a breath of fresh air, offering stunning views and a sense of tranquility.

Spacious, cosy, and well-equipped apartment. The owners went above and beyond to ensure a great stay. Highly recommended.
Wow, what a shame that the bed was as hard as a rock and my hubby couldn't stretch out. And don't get me started on the filthy oven gloves and sad little tea towels.
